What Hath God Wrought?

I’m not sure what the origin or context of the phrase “What hath God wrought?” is, but it seems fitting. This series, Those Who Have Gone Before, was born when I was sitting in my office, gazing at Roberts Liardon’s series, God’s Generals, sitting on my shelf.

I think God broke into my thoughts at that point, and He was saying something like, “Why don’t you produce a series about great Christian’s from our past, short spots, like . . . two minutes?”

It took a long time to get it rolling, some years, because of other responsibilities that kept taking my time. Then when I brought the first spots to Phil Elke at YOUR Q FM in Bemidji, Minnesota he said, “There’s nothing else like this out there,” and he advised me to contact Amb-Os.

Amb-Os distributes programming nationally to Christian radio stations. They asked for a promotional presentation, and . . . so here we are. I was very surprised when Ambassador featured our show in their February magazine. What Hath God Wrought? I was only attempting to do what He asked me to do. That’s what we Christians are supposed to do, right?

So, we wanted to inform all of you who support this ministry. God is doing things. Your support has helped us do this. We are now on 17 stations and growing! Thank You!

The service of Amb-Os costs our ministry 195.00 a month. It seems like a small fee to pay considering that we are now reaching 2 to 3 million people. Many people have asked us if we get paid by the radio stations for these spots and the answer is that we do not.

The Christian radio stations who play these spots get them for free. They are a ministry as well and operate themselves on contributions. Some of their income comes from selling advertising that can be heard on their broadcasts. All ministry depends upon the contributions of givers like you.
